Future proofing the farm

Flooding

Eligible primary producers impacted by the significant southern Queensland flooding and rainfall events in 2021-22 can access funding, resources, management planning and mapping support through our BMRG Industry Recovery and Resilience Officers (IRROs).

Our experienced IRROs will visit you on-farm at your convenience and assist you to develop a Flood Management Plan that identifies risks and actions needed to strengthen the production and business aspects of your operation.

Have you taken advantage of the Drought Resilience Program, or are you struggling to find time to start your Drought Preparedness Grant application? Our IRROs can also support you there, connecting you with industry professionals, with a no fee service to help you get it done.

Our IRROs are on the ground with producers, feeling the impact of the long-lasting recovery, and producers can see the benefits of “future proofing” their farm.

Contact Virginia (0428 765 676), or Leesa (0415 113 021) who are ready to help you.

The IRRO program is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
